Dan Weiss, Founder and President of Adatasol, has a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University. He is a Certified Filemaker Developer and he considers himself a FileMaker “generalist” — experienced in just about everything Filemaker related. He has been with Filemaker since the beginning. Prior to his work with Filemaker, Dan did Apple IT and computer work when he started his first company, which was originally called “Buddy Systems.” Dan has a vision for building Adatasol and works tirelessly to find the right systems, people, values, technologies, and energy to build the best business that makes the most positive impact for those around him, his clients, and all the stakeholders involved. Within the last few years, Dan has gone through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, which is a mini MBA for business owners, the Entrepreneurs Organization Accelerator (EOA) program which expands on the Goldman program with more in depth ways to build your business, and Entrepreneurs Operating System (eOS) to get all the process and systems built to be able to scale up the business going forward.
Dan is on the boards of Goldman-Sachs 10,000 Small Business Cleveland, Entrepreneurs Organization Accelerator, and Learning About Business, an entrepreneurial program for high schoolers teaching them business concepts. Separately he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Kelly and their six teenage children. Dan is active with his kids, family, and their activities from Marching Band, Football, Baseball, Tae Kwon Do, and too many to name. He enjoys watching them grow and being a part of it.
V.P. of Software Development
David Case is Adatasol’s Vice President of Software Development. He manages the developers, projects, and works closely with Dan on company strategy. David enjoys working on projects that have an impact on the people that use them. The little things that make life easier for them so they can get their work done quicker and much more efficiently. David also likes managerial reporting and business intelligence to be able to see company information at the push of a button to make quick decisions and understand best how to allocate resources. David has a B.B.A in Business Management and a minor in Economics at Hiram College. He also has a Master’s in Quantitative Finance (M.S.F.) from Case Western Reserve University. He has worked in business consulting and data analytics for over 20 years.
When not working, David spends time with his family and two dogs. David enjoys reading, collecting Native American artwork, hiking in the Cleveland Metroparks, and walking the dogs all around the neighborhood. David also gives back by volunteering and with various non-profits including Learning About Business, a special program that teaches high school students about business concepts. He also is active in mentoring students at his alma-maters and is a former Alumni Advisory Council Board member of both schools.
Internal Project Manager
Andy Kimos brings more than 25 years of project management experience to the Adatasol Team. Andy has led large professional teams with multi-million dollar annual budgets. He has been with Adatasol since March 2015, and is responsible for project budget compliance, task completion, and process improvement. Andy says he enjoys working at Adatasol because the company “has a great team. It’s exciting to implement new ideas and watch growth and improvements result.”
He has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio. Andy is also a commercial pilot and flight instructor. He enjoys volunteering at his sons’ school.
Bridget majored in psychology, criminal justice and law, and has a B.A. in Psychology from Trine University. Bridget is a certified Filemaker developer and her technical expertise includes reporting, filemaker go, EZcal and base elements. She enjoys design elements and has a keen eye for look and feel and user experience. She has additional experience in Corel Draw, design work and g-coding.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, volley ball, and doing home improvement projects. She also enjoys volunteering to help elderly neighbors, and at church events.
Adam Fetrow specializes in complex files and being able to get the maximum out of them with his ability to systems think. Adam is a certified developer. He prides himself on being a “constant learner and adapter to new technology” having worked in tech and with computers for most of his career. Adam has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
When not working, Adam leads worship at all of the SCO Nazarene district events (quizzes, camps, meetings), and volunteers his time as an actor for their childrens’ services. He also volunteers with Keep Akron Beautiful as his schedule allows. His interests include writing music, creating podcasts with friends, mountain biking, snowboarding, travel, and spending time with his family.
Arin Preston has nearly 25 years of Filemaker experience, with an emphasis on User Interfaces, Reports and Web Direct. With an A.A. in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Information Technology from Colorado Tech, Arin’s other experience includes web design, tech support, network administration graphic design and desktop publishing.
Arin is also a U.S. Navy veteran, having served one tour during the Desert Storm Era as a Bomb and Weapons Tech.
Outside of Adatasol, Arin volunteers as webmaster for Connecting Hearts Ministry, an organization which supports the sponsorship of children in Guatemala. Arin is also a singer/songwriter, plays guitar, and enjoys Scrabble, reading, live music, camping and spending time with her dogs.
E. J. Sexton
Director of Web Development
When not working on Adatasol projects, E.J. tutors military dependents part-time at the DoDEA school in Naples, Italy. He enjoys teaching, travel, biking and running.
James Pierson enjoys scripting and solving problems in FileMaker, working with the FileMaker web viewer, creating “out of the box” solutions using web technologies, as well as mobile apps. James studied at NBC tech in Lima, OH studying Diesel Mechanics before entering the Army as a Tank Mechanic.
When not working, James enjoys playing guitar, working on carpentry or auto repair projects, assembling RTA (Ready to Assemble) furniture, installing car stereos and other automotive electronics. He hopes in the future to work on a Habitat for Humanity project.
Nick specializes in understanding files from the inside out. He spends a lot of time working in complex files and enjoys using modern techniques and new features to get the client exactly what they need. He enjoys layout and report design and is working on JSON integrations as well. With a B.A. in History from The Ohio State University, his other technical experience includes Java / Swift programming, graphic design, photography and web design.
When he isn’t working, he enjoys coaches and teaches tennis and he enjoys playing golf, soccer. When he isn’t being active he enjoys reading.
Creator of TourTools
John is a computer programmer who supported himself for 24 years as a group tour operator. He began studying programming languages at Miami University where he enrolled as a math major. After graduating, he joined Kamm Tours & Travel, Inc. and began learning the tour business and exploring the world. Building his first computer in 1979, he embarked on a dual career path that would ultimately lead to the formation of a software development company whose mission is to bring state-of-the-art technology to the front lines of the travel industry.
As president of Kamm Tours for 11 years, John was an active industry volunteer, serving multiple terms on the National Tour Association board of directors, a term as president of National Tour Marketing Services, 5 years on the Ohio Travel Association board of directors, and 5 terms on the NTA’s Technology Advisory Committee as chairman.
John has traveled throughout North America lecturing on a variety of travel and technology subjects. He makes his home in the forested hills of eastern Ohio with wife, Linda, twin daughters, Sarah and Rebecca, and son A. J. Although he loves his work, he’d rather be sailing.
Eric W. Anderson, Sr.
Eric W. Anderson, Sr. is President of MPG Management, Inc., specializing as an independent management consultant that develops financial reports, sales plans and operating budgets for small business owners regardless of business industry. Eric is a serial entrepreneur and a seasoned sales & marketing pro, spending the past 25 years in this capacity. Eric worked 14 years in corporate America spending time with Pepsi Cola and Quaker Oats in sales and sales management positions.
Eric has earned numerous sales and sales management awards during his tenure with both Pepsi Cola and Quaker Oats. He holds a BA in Communication from the University of Florida, 1985 where he also lettered in football for the SEC champion Gators.
